If your child is interested in learning how to program, it's important that you help them find the
right trainer*. Learning programming languages can be an incredibly rewarding experience for kids,
and there are numerous ways to learn these skills.
The big problem is simply the large amount of providers with standardized teaching approaches.
Which course is appropriate? What if my child's interest changes and suddenly they don't want to
program an app after all, but a computer game?
The solution is a personal trainer!
We personally accompany you and your child via chat and messages and there are group video meetings
where we exchange ideas. If a reorientation is necessary due to new ideas, we can do this at any
time.
But our concept is still a bit special, because we fully rely on Pair-Programming.
Pair-Programming is a method of programming where two people work together on a computer to solve a
task. One partner is the "driver", operating the keyboard and writing the code, while the other
partner is the "co-driver", helping to understand the code, find bugs and suggest improvements.
The idea behind pair programming is that two people working together can lead to better results
than working alone. By working in pairs, ideas and approaches can be shared, allowing you to work
faster and more efficiently. In addition, the "passenger" can support the "driver" and help him or
her find mistakes or take a different approach.
For children, pair programming is a great way to learn programming and have fun doing it. It can
help improve understanding of programming languages while building confidence in using computers
and technology.
In our concept, the child sits in front of the computer and the partner (a parent, older
sibling,...) sits with or accompanies on the spot and helps to discover mistakes. Together the
ideas are implemented.
